Berkeley Aikikai is headquarters of Aikido UnEnKai,
and maintains a direct connection to Hombu Dojo
(Aikikai Foundation), Tokyo, Japan.


Chief Instructor: Marianne Shibata, 6th dan, Shihan.



Visitor Policy: Visitors are always welcome to observe. Those who have active affiliation with Hombu Dojo are welcome to train as Visitors. Yudansha should bring their Aikikai yudansha book. Kyu grades should bring some document from their current Dojo that shows their affiliation, or a letter from their instructor.

Anyone is welcome to become a member.

Kangeiko 2015

2015 Kangeiko (Winter Practice) will be Monday, February 2nd through Friday, February 6th.
The class schedule will change for the week. Each day there will be:

      one morning class 6:30 - 7:30 AM
      one evening class 6:00 - 7:00 PM.

All classes are open to all levels.
There will be no noon classes for the week.There will be regular Kids' Class on Tuesday, 4:15 - 5:15 PM

The regular schedule resumes Saturday, February 7th.
